  5. Marie Antoinette was the queen of France when the French revolution occurred. She was guillotined after being convicted of treason against France and a curious fact is that before dying she floored her executioner.

  6. Marie Antoinette was the last queen of France before the French Revolution. She was born an archduchess of Austria, and was the penultimate child and youngest daughter of Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis I. She became dauphine of France in May 1770 at age 14 upon her marriage to Louis-Auguste, heir apparent to the French throne. On 10 May 1774, her husband ascended the throne as Louis XVI and she became queen. She was died at the age of 37 ( Viena 2 November 1755- Paris 16 October 1793)
During his childhood at the court of Vienna he met Mozart, who came to play at the Palace when they were both children. In October 1762, the musician, who was about 7 years old, played several pieces with the misfortune that when he finished and got out of his seat he fell to the floor. Nobody came to help him. Nobody? No! A little princess ran among the spectators and helped him up. It was Marie Antoinette, just a few months older than him. Mozart hugged her gratefully and promised that he would marry her. Obviously, everything remained a childhood anecdote.
