One more challenge!
“Can a country win a civil war?”
After learning about the Spanish Civil War, think about this question:
Even if one side wins militarily… does a country really “win” a civil war?
Write a comment in which you:
- explain your opinion,
- mention at least one consequence of the war,
- and reflect on how civil wars affect people, families or society.

ReplyDeleteI think no country really wins a civil war
In the Spanish Civil War many people died and cities were destroye
Families and friends fought each other, and people suffered a lot. Even if one side wins, the country stays divided and everyone loses something

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, in a war, neither side wins because we’re killing each other while those responsible for the problem they are free. One consequence is all the innocent and militar people who die, and then the postwar period affects all the civilis with economic crisis and a lot of problems.

ReplyDeleteI don’t think a country really wins a civil war. In the Spanish Civil War, many people died, cities were destroyed, and families were divided. Even if one side wins, society suffers for many years. Civil wars leave pain, fear, and problems that are hard to forget.
