  1. Hi I'm Jorge. I choose the surgery because it is very important today to close wounds that could lead to the death. For other part, in that era, it is very impresionant to carry out that type of operation.

  2. For me, the most important discoveries are: anesthesia, because without it the pain in some operations would be unbearable, and mathematics, because without it we wouldn't even be able to know how old we are or how long until summer vacation.

  3. Most important Muslim discovery
For me, the most important discovery is the evolution of surgery: They invented instruments like the scalpel and forceps, and developed the surgical thread. A scalpel is a surgical instrument shaped like a small knife, with a thin, pointed, and very sharp blade. Forceps are a pincer-like instrument used to grasp and remove an object. These objects have been important in the evolution of surgery.

  4. For my the most important invention is the ALGEBRA why it provided a new, abstract way of thinking about mathematics beyond geometry, allowing for the solving of equations and the combination of different types of numbers in a unified framework. The inventor was: Muhammad ibn Musa
    al-Khwarizmi.
