Carolina: 1- The blue colour refers to the equality of all citizens of the Republic and the red represents the blood of all those who gave their lives for the country, and another meaning of the flag is related to the motto of France, freedom (white), fraternity (red) and equality (blue).
ReplyDelete2- It was adopted during the French Revolution in 1973. It was created to end religious traditions and relate them to the seasons of the year.
Months: the year was divided into 12 months of 30 days with names related to the seasons.

ReplyDelete2.France's Republican calendar, instituted in 1793 during the French Revolution, replaced the Gregorian calendar. It had 12 months of 30 days, divided into three decades of 10 days, and the months had names related to nature, such as Vendémiaire and Germinal. The year began at the autumn equinox and five or six extra days were added at the end to make the year complete. It was abolished in 1806 by Napoleon Bonaparte and sought to eliminate references to religion and monarchy.I like to think it was an alien invention, but I know it's not true.👽
Espero mi carta.......
