  1. Marie Antoinette was the Queen of France and the wife of King Louis XVI. Many French people disliked her because she spend a lot of money while ordinary people was poor. They also thought she cared more about luxury than about the people.

An interesting fact is that she was born in Austria and married the French king when she was only 14 years old.

In my opinion, Marie Antoinette was partly a victim of propaganda. For example, people blamed her for France’s problems and spread rumours about her. However, she also lived a very luxurious life when many people suffering. I think she isn’t completely innocent, but she isn’t as bad as people said.

  2. Good morning, my name is Henriette Campan(Juana Luisa Enriqueta Genet).I was one of Marie Antoinette's maids.I'm going to tell you her story.
Marie Antoinette was an Austrian archduche who came to France(with 14 years old)to get marry with Luis XVI.Their marriage was the alliance between the Bourbon and Hamsburg dinasty.(They were the last kings of France before de French Revolution)
She was a woman who love money (she live in her world of elegance and luxury), she never cared about the people.
Behind that Marie Antoinette was another who suffered her great position as queen, she order the construction of a special house to stay calm, where she can wear the clothes that she wanted (simple dresses)
But the French people didn't like her idea, because they thought she was joking about their poverty. All of this generated hate to her, they start called her "Madame Déficit," one of many nicknames that she receive.
When the French Revolution started, the royal family did some things that the people dislike, for example, they made costumes of peasants to tried to escape.
    Later,she was executed in 1793,
Many people thought that she was a villain for not care about her people and to be arrogance(People created "fake stories" like her iconic motto "if they don't have bread, let them eat cake"), but other people thought she was a victim because she didn't choose to marry and become Queen of France (a country with different rules from her own country).
But as a maid, and a person very close to her ,I say that she was both, she was a bad queen, but in the end she only wanted peace.

3.I think Marie Antoinette made some mistakes, but people also judged her too much. For example, many people believed that she said, “Let them eat cake” when poor people had no bread, but we don't know if she really said this. I think she was not as bad as people believed, and she became a symbol of everything that was wrong in the royal family.

  4. She was Archduchess of Austria and Queen consort of France and Navarre. French people didn't like her because of many reasons, she wasn't french, she was from Austria. She was accused of frivolity, wastefulness, and of influencing her husband in favor of Austrian interests. Pamphlets, engravings, and libels portrayed her as corrupt.
She used to make death masks, and when she went from France to England, the English people liked what she did so much that several nobles started asking her to make masks for them too before they died. And that's why the Madame Tussaud's wax museum in England has her name and is inspired by her and the French Revolution.
In my oppinion she wasn't responsible of the crisis in France, but she was responsible of do not help to improve the situation and because she didn't care about if her country was good or dying by famine.
