  2. This picture represents La Gloriosa. La Gloriosa was a war to propose democracy as a method of government and throw away Isabel II. It started in 1866 with the Pact of Osttend in which democrats and republicans agreed this revolution and in 1868 Isabel II was sent into exile and the republic was the new government method

    This picture is a caricature about the coming back of the Bourbon dynasty (Alfonso XII with the restoration) to the throne of Spain after the First Republic, 1873-1874.
    They are all fighting. Also, there is a portrait hanging on the wall of Fernando VII fighting against his father and brother.

  6. la escena central enseña la lucha entre los miembros de la dinastía en 1868-70, Isabel aparece en el centro con un vestido de rayas azules, esta se encuentra en frente de el duque, este mismo le tira del pelo a Francisco de Asís por estar implicado en el exilio del matrimonio.
