Web task 2: Declaration of Human Rights

Introduction
In 1948, after the horrors and atrocities of the Second World War, the new United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that defines the rights to secure the dignity and worth of each human being.

Task
Use the links below to answer these questions:
• What are human rights? How many are there? List them.
• Name an organization or a person who has supported human rights. Explain briefly what they have done.
